The Agri-Food Council has approved SWCDC Bard Order 13/16. This Board Order authorizes the collection of levy on winter wheat, fall rye and winter triticale.
Effective Aug 1, 2017 the SWCDC levy will increase from $0.50 per tonne to $0.98 per tonne of eligible production.
This increase represents a transfer of the federal Western Canadian Research Deduction to a provincial organization and does not represent an increased total deduction from producers.
